A key upgrade in the GS-C260 is its sinker system, controlled by a stepping motor for arbitrary precision adjustment according to different fabric characteristics — enabling precise control over various shaping and stopping effects. This design allows the sinkers to perform optimally across different pattern types and yarn materials, effectively improving fabric formation quality, surface evenness, and structural uniformity throughout the knitting process. In complex techniques such as transfer and intarsia, the sinker assist function is especially impactful, significantly enhancing the quality consistency and appearance uniformity of wide-format complex collar products.

The GS-C260's yarn carrier system features a standard 2×8 configuration mounted on both sides of 4 guide rails, allowing yarn switching at any needle position. Notably, the machine supports an optional intelligent yarn feeder upgrade — individually servo motor–driven feeders that move freely in the horizontal direction, independent of carriage movement. Controlled by high-precision encoder feedback, each feeder stops accurately at its preset position, significantly reducing empty carriage passes during color changes and substantially improving the efficiency of multi-color jacquard and intarsia collar production. This option is the ideal upgrade path for factories pursuing higher automation and premium multi-color pattern capability.

The racking system, driven by AC servo motor with a 2-inch range and fine-tuning capability, meets the precision requirements of complex pattern structures.
·Precision Stitch Density & Take-Down Control
Stitch density is controlled by a stepping motor with 128 (32) selectable levels and an adjustable range of 0–650 via subdivision technology, ensuring consistent fabric density uniformity across the full 60-inch knitting width throughout high-volume production. The take-down roller system, also stepping motor–driven, provides 128 levels of tension control across a range of 0–100, precisely adapting to yarns of different weights and elasticity to prevent edge curl or distortion across the wide fabric panel.
·Intelligent Control & Comprehensive Protection
The control system features an LCD display with USB input and 256MB of onboard memory for storing extensive design libraries, supporting Chinese, English, and other languages with all parameters adjustable in real time during operation. The protection system automatically triggers alarms upon detecting yarn breakage, knotting, float yarn, rewinding faults, end-of-knitting signals, racking failure, needle breakage, or programming errors — comprehensively protecting both machine and operator. The machine operates on 220V single-phase power with a power-off memory function to safeguard production data against unexpected interruptions.
